The Caregiver Journey: Finding Joy During (and After) the Holidays

The holidays bring opportunities to gather with friends and family — and this year, perhaps with those you haven’t been able to see for a while. But for those caring for loved ones and juggling many responsibilities, the holidays can also bring added stress.

If you’re a caregiver, it is ok to permit yourself to do less.

Our discussion focused on ways to find joy during this special time — and provided tips on navigating family dynamics and keeping loved ones safe during the holidays. We even considered some New Year’s resolutions to set the stage for a more joyful, less stressed life for you and your loved ones in 2022!

Hillary Ebach, JD, MBA

Along with serving these populations in a professional role, she has personal experience as a caregiver for several family members and close friends.

In her role as a Care Advocate at Carallel, Jennifer focuses on providing caregivers with the tools, education, and guidance they need to navigate the caregiver journey.

Jennifer earned BA from Iowa State University and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner.
