Carallel Recognized as Quarterfinalist for the Digital Health Hub Foundation: Digital Health Awards
CHICAGO, September 13, 2024 — Carallel, a family caregiver support company that partners with major health plans across the nation, is thrilled to announce its selection as a quarterfinalist for the prestigious 2024 Digital Health Hub Foundation: Digital Health Awards. Carallel was chosen as a quarterfinalist for the Rising Star – Longevity category.
This recognition highlights the company’s dedication to providing personalized guidance and digital health tools to identify caregivers and empower them to confidently manage the twists and turns of caregiving. The Digital Health Awards celebrate organizations that demonstrate excellence in leveraging digital advancements to enhance healthcare services and patient outcomes. As a quarterfinalist, Carallel stands out for its commitment to make caregiving easier and, in turn, improve health outcomes for both caregivers and those in their care.
This recognition highlights Carallel’s significant contributions to advancing human-led and tech-enabled solutions designed specifically for caregivers. The Digital Health Hub Foundation Awards honor organizations making strides in improving healthcare spend, efficiency and equity with their digital innovations. Being named a quarterfinalist reflects Carallel’s commitment to driving meaningful change in the healthcare landscape.
“We are honored to be selected as a quarterfinalist in the longevity category,” said Shara Cohen, CEO, Carallel. “A core aspect of longevity is the ability to age in the lowest acuity setting with the highest dignity of care, and that goal is entirely reliant on family caregivers — for the elderly as well as the disabled and chronically ill. Caregiver resilience is a massive risk and, as a longevity solution, Carallel has uniquely demonstrated that addressing caregiver needs can reduce their burden, improve their health and improve the health of those in their care.”
Out of a substantial pool of over 1,500 submissions, only the most promising 16 quarterfinalists have advanced to this stage for each category and track.
“This year has set a new benchmark for excellence, with a remarkable influx of global submissions showcasing groundbreaking innovations in digital health. The level of ingenuity and commitment we’ve seen is truly inspiring. Congratulations to all of our quarterfinalists for their outstanding achievements,” said Mark Goldstein, Chairman of the Digital Health Hub Foundation.
Finalists will be announced September 22, 2023, and the winners will be announced at the Grand Finale taking place at HLTH on October 21, 2024.
